Just between you, me, and the wall, I'm seriously considering making this a monthly feature, too. It would resurrect something I used to do many moons ago.
"Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design." It's a green building standard that's the most widely accepted by government. Because you used all materials that would otherwise be destined for a landfill, that would be a plus in their eyes. (Although you would have had to document that somehow.)
Many years ago I had a LEED certification, but I let it lapse shortly thereafter. There's only a limited market for such things in this area.
I sometimes forget that everyone doesn't speak in my jargon. Thanks for the reminder.
I am not an architect, but for 30 years, I have been designing and redesigning the perfect house in my head. It's one of the ways I put myself to sleep at night. I like my most recent iteration a lot! Just over 2,000 square feet, and yet it is very efficient and feels roomy!
Michael, again I am honored by your mention. Thank you. Always enjoy your writing.

Sounds great.
Thanks for the shoutout :-)

Thanks for the info!
Do you do construction/contracting?
