I want to keep this short because I think the post underneath is important.

The first round is complete, and Salisbury News advances to the next round as it narrowly eked out a win over afterthegoldrush 47%-39%, with Progressive Delmarva bringing up the rear at 14 percent.

At the suggestion of the afterthegoldrush blogger (who was happy to be included) I added two more competitors: Twirling, Twirling, Twirling Towards Freedom and Alive in the Chesapeake. An omission I made from the original bumps the expanded field to 12 as On Your Side was placed in this round.

What that also means is that top second-place finishers advance too as I like to keep these at three choices apiece. So continue to vote early and often as round 2 (of at least 4) begins.
